Vintage West African Kora Musical Instrument

Description

This leather gourd 6 string instrument is in excellent condition for age. The eyes and mouth are covered with cowrie shells. Made in the early 1900s, only missing a few shells for eyes and mouth, with age patina showing. 27” x 9 1/2”. Just a great piece of history.
