Valentino Beanie Baby With Unique "Ty" Spelling Error and More!
THIS HAS BEEN IN A PLASTIC STORAGE CONTAINER IN MY MOTHER'S CLOSET SINCE 1995!!!
Hello! I happened upon this exciting Valentino Beanie Baby that my mother stored away. Not only has this been kept in a plastic container, in her closet void of light and extreme temperatures, it was made with a plethora of errors! This has actually become quite exciting, as I knew my mother put it away for the future, but she would have had no knowledge of the errors when doing so! I will do my best to list each that I have found, I hope you can share in the excitement.
***Most notable, inside the tag, the line "Ty Inc." actually reads, "TyInc." The own manufacturer printed it's own name with a typo!
***Mismatched dates, 1993 tush tag, to a 1994 ear tag.
***Missing UK after post code.
***Made with polyester and P.V.C pellets 1st gen.
***There are two spaces on tush tag where it reads "Handmade _ _ in China"!!
***"Oakbrook IL" should be "Oakbrook, IL" it is missing the comma! Some are also arguing it should read Oak Brook".
***NO STAMP inside tush tag, not a mass batch!
***TM and (R) are mismatched on ear and tush tag!
***There is a space after the word "Birth" before the colon! It should read "Date of birth: " but instead it reads "Date of birth :"
***Includes "Http://" in web address.
***Includes style number next to name.
***Brown nose with black eyes, slightly offset eye and nose
To those of you who value these items, I thank you for looking! This Beanie baby will be stored in a controlled closet in the plastic case, free from light and temperature until sale.
