    Description

This one is a knife style from the 1800s.  This is the sort of blade a riverboat gambler
might have carried in his boot or under his arm.
However, this is no "dude" knife.
It is a wide but light and lively blade.  The back is not sharpened and there is no swedge because of the diamond cross-section.
    The blade is
deferentially hardened 5160 carbon steel (same as truck leaf springs) and will stand up to anything you can throw at it.
These knives are made for working in the outdoors. I make the blades the handles and the sheaths myself. They are not stainless. They are carbon steel and thus, will stain and need to be oiled and maintained. However, they will hold an edge better than most types of stainless steel. I make the blades using a traditional charcoal forge, hand-grind and carefully temper them. These are old-school, tough-as-nails knives. No frills, no nonsense.
YOU MUST BE 18 OR OLDER TO ORDER THIS KNIFE.
