he Nordica Astral 84 Skis exemplify the new breed of freeride skis, with damp and powerful performance balanced by a new lighter construction. Nordica starts with a super light Balsa wood core. They encase the core in top and bottom layers of pre-preg fiberglass, with a laser cut Titanal layer under the topsheet for power and dampness. The result is an incredibly competent ski that is light enough to handle bumps and trees with aplomb.
