Fox Racing 32mm Suspension Fork 26” Wheel 100mm Travel. 8 3/4” steerer.
This is an oldie but a goodie. Used but not abused. Has not been ridden for a few years. Scratches and scuffs from normal use. No real dings dents or crashes. Rebound and lockout all seem to function properly.
I do notice that the dust wiper on the right stanchion is dry cracking from non-use. I am seeing 1 hairline crack above the silver sinch. it is not cracking below the silver ring and I believe that the dust wiper has not been breached.
If this were my investment I would probably have the dust wipers serviced/replaced. However I have rebuilt enough of these and dealt with them long enough I know that you could probably just ride it for a while too.
There is no scouring of the upper stanchions coating on either side. Those of you who know, know that once The goldish coating (this is before Kashma coating) on the stanchions starts to brush away, a rebuild is no longer prudent really. I will try to show the dry cracking in a photo. I did not go too crazy on the clean up just a quick wipe and function check. This item is sold as is. What you see is what you get.
