The Alchemist construction of the Wailer 99 gives the ski all the lightweight stiffness it needs to take all-mountain and freeride skiers to the next level. We’ve seen a lot of properly constructed skis come through our space over the years, and DPS has consistently had some of the best looking and supremely constructed skis. The Wailer 99 is no exception. The camber underfoot and rockered tips and tails make the ski perform equally as well on-trail as it does off. While other skis use laminates of different material, DPS simply wraps an Aspen wood core with high-tech carbon fiber. It’s simple, yet it works, and the Wailer 99 is the ultimate example of a pair of skis that can literally do anything.
The Wailer A99 utilizes the Wailer A112’s 3-D PaddleTech Geometry™— DPS’ original blend of rocker and variable sidecut. PaddleTech allows the skier to engage the Wailer A99’s slightly cambered 18m underfoot turn radius while arcing g-loaded carves on hard snow. In soft or mixed snow, the skier draws on the gradually rockered paddle. The Wailer A99 exhibits the best on and off edge performance, and the ability to get creative on the most versatile 100mm underfoot package ever designed.

If you're looking for a ski binding to go with your flat powder or park & pipe skis, the low-built Salomon STH2 13 WTR is ideal. It's like the STH2 16 WTR, just slightly lighter with lower release values (DIN 4-13).
