Product description
Rain Sticks have been used for centuries and traditionally they were used to indicate to the Gods that rain was needed in the dry desert area. These particular Rain sticks are made from cactus plants that have died a natural death in the deserts of Chile. The insides are carved out and pebbles or seeds are inserted to make the Rain Stick sound. Decorative woven fabric is wrapped around one end using one of the traditional colors. The color of the fabric will vary with each Rain stick.
In modern time, Rain Sticks are used for Cultural and Historical decoration as well as musical instruments due to the running sound of the pebbles or seeds within the stick. Our Cactus Rain Sticks are made of cactus that died of natural causes. Put together and decorated by 2 families in central Chile just for us. This type of cactus dies from the inside out---the longer they grow the more they die, the longer they die the larger the hollowed center is, thus making a better sounding Rain Stick and the longer the Rain Stick the better the rain sounds.
Due to the nature of the natural materials that rainsticks are made with, variations in diameter & texture are common. The colored yarn band varies from stick to stick. If you have a particular color braid/yarn you're looking for, please ask and we will do out best to get you the color you need.
Approx. 10" Cactus Rain Stick from Chile---Variations in length---These range from 9" to a little over 11" in length. Diameter is approx. 1 1/2" - 2 1/2"

We try and ship IMMEDIATELY(within 24 business hours or LESS) upon receipt of payment(we don't mess around!). Orders paid for on Saturday or Sunday will usually begin to be processed on that next Monday.
We immediately ship your items to the address provided on your Paypal account; therefore, please make sure it is current when placing your order. Please note that all shipping addresses must be in the paypal "ship to" address area of your payment.
We cannot change the shipping address once it is provided through paypal, We cannot change a shipping address even if it is emailed to us through the ebay message system because often times, items are already shipped out or are being processed before we may see the emails and also Paypal does not provide buyer or seller protection if an item is shipped to an address other than the one in the paypal "ship to" address. If you request us to ship to an address other than the one you have provided with your Paypal payment AFTER you have already sent the payment, we will have to cancel the transaction and you will have to repurchase the item.
