It's always cool to see skis specifically designed around making learning and progression easy and as rapid as possible. The Elan Snow Black Light Shift skis are designed to do exactly that. The idea behind these skis is light weight and easy turns. These skis use a mono wood core along with Elan's Power Ca Construction which keeps the ski lightweight yet responsive. Out in the tip of the ski, you'll find a bit of early rise as well as some horizontal grooves cut into the material. The two design attributes work together to make sure that you're working less. They allow for very easy turn initiation and give you the freedom to dictate the type of turn shape you want to make. When you're comfortable on your skis is when you start to progress fairly quickly. When you know you're able to control the ski, make a nice turn with it, and ultimately dictate the speed at which you want to ski, it makes the sport a lot more appealing. Women who want to start taking skiing a bit more seriously will really enjoy the Snow Black Light Shift. These skis will transform you from a timid beginner into a seasoned enthusiast in no time!

*Returned skis that have been mounted are subject to a 20-25% restocking fee. If you are unsure about keeping the skis or your boot size we recommend shipping the skis & bindings unmounted.
Where to Find Your Boot Sole Length (BSL)
The boot sole length is not your foot size or boot size; it is a millimeter measurement of the boot shell. Ski boot manufacturers emboss this measurement into the plastic shell at the heel or under the arch. The number will fall between 255-365mm for an adult ski boot. This number will be greater than your mondo boot size (
eg.
a mondo size of 23.5 commonly has a BSL of 275mm). Please include the “mm” unit to indicate that the number given is the BSL and not the mondo size. Without this precise manufacturer's measurement, we cannot mount your skis.
If we are given incorrect mounting info, the buyer will be responsible for any remounting or restocking fees.
Binding Check:
Buyer is responsible
for taking Ski + Binding to a certified ski shop before use to make final adjustments and do a safety release check.  We do NOT set DIN levels.
Product Availability
Our eBay store shares much of its inventory with our family-owned retail store in Stowe, VT and sometimes our inventory is not accurate due to purchases made locally. If you purchase something that is sold out, we will try our best to find you a suitable replacement item. Any payment for an item that is not available will be refunded immediately. Keep in mind that weekend purchases are not finalized until Monday due to our eBay Department schedule.
