Full disclosure: I have loved these skis for a long time. They used to be the Slicer, and I skied them all the time, all over the mountain, in any and all conditions. While it's a twin tip, I'm not really a park skier, but they excel all over the place and are just so much fun. The Dynastar Menace 98 skis with bindings are a shining example of how a ski should be made: simply. With a poplar wood core and fiberglass laminates, the skis are pretty basic in their guts, but the way Dynastar implements those materials is a highlight for sure. The springblade technique allows them to mill and shape the wood core in such a way that makes the underfoot region more stable and stouter while the tips and tails are a bit thinner to accommodate a lighter swing weight as well as more flotation in softer snow. Thanks to the twin tip shape and the tip and tail rocker, these skis are better floaters than their width may indicate, and the minimal taper makes for a smoother and longer effective edge. As a result, the skis generate a 23-meter turn radius in the 181 cm length, and this is on the long side for skis of this nature. The longer radius puts more control in the hands (or feet) of the skier in terms of the shape and duration of the turn. There's a lot of fun to be had on these skis and bindings, go get yourself some.

Where to Find Your Boot Sole Length (BSL)
The boot sole length is not your foot size or boot size; it is a millimeter measurement of the boot shell. Ski boot manufacturers emboss this measurement into the plastic shell at the heel or under the arch. The number will fall between 255-365mm for an adult ski boot. This number will be greater than your mondo boot size (
eg.
a mondo size of 23.5 commonly has a BSL of 275mm). Please include the “mm” unit to indicate that the number given is the BSL and not the mondo size. Without this precise manufacturer's measurement, we cannot mount your skis.
If we are given incorrect mounting info, the buyer will be responsible for any remounting or restocking fees.
Binding Check:
Buyer is responsible
for taking Ski + Binding to a certified ski shop before use to make final adjustments and do a safety release check.  We do NOT set DIN levels.
Product Availability
Our eBay store shares much of its inventory with our family-owned retail store in Stowe, VT and sometimes our inventory is not accurate due to purchases made locally. If you purchase something that is sold out, we will try our best to find you a suitable replacement item. Any payment for an item that is not available will be refunded immediately. Keep in mind that weekend purchases are not finalized until Monday due to our eBay Department schedule.
