Kids have it pretty darn good these days when it comes to their ski stuff. Back in my day, they just handed is a long, straight, heavy, and stiff ski from whatever company and they told us to go ski. Powder, ice, moguls, whatever. We just went out and did it. I can't imagine having something like the Volkl Mantra Junior skis when I was a kid. Built much like the adult versions but without the metal, the Mantra Junior is a true freeride and all-mountain ski for any and all conditions and terrain. With fantastic DNA to clone itself with, the Mantra Junior has a high-performance ceiling and a ton of versatility built in. When kids get the same looking gear as their heroes (parents), they tend to emulate those skiers and their skills. Since imitation is the highest form of flattery, this goes a long way in making the skis able to take their pilots to the next level of their skiing. When you see a kid ripping down some big mountain line on something like the Mantra junior, it's pretty darn impressive. Tip and tail rocker help with flotation as well as smooth transitions between turns, and the twin tip shape is ideal for getting out of sketchy situations as well as upping the versatility to include park and pipe skiing. Really a one-stop shop in terms of kids skis, the Volkl Mantra junior is the envy of all other young skiers on the mountain, and makes me jealous in the past, wishing I was a kid skier all over again. I wonder what they'll have 20 years from now?

*Returned skis that have been mounted are subject to a 20-25% restocking fee. If you are unsure about keeping the skis or your boot size we recommend shipping the skis & bindings unmounted.
Where to Find Your Boot Sole Length (BSL)
The boot sole length is not your foot size or boot size; it is a millimeter measurement of the boot shell. Ski boot manufacturers emboss this measurement into the plastic shell at the heel or under the arch. The number will fall between 255-365mm for an adult ski boot. This number will be greater than your mondo boot size (
eg.
a mondo size of 23.5 commonly has a BSL of 275mm). Please include the “mm” unit to indicate that the number given is the BSL and not the mondo size. Without this precise manufacturer's measurement, we cannot mount your skis.
If we are given incorrect mounting info, the buyer will be responsible for any remounting or restocking fees.
Binding Check:
Buyer is responsible
for taking Ski + Binding to a certified ski shop before use to make final adjustments and do a safety release check.  We do NOT set DIN levels.
Product Availability
Our eBay store shares much of its inventory with our family-owned retail store in Stowe, VT and sometimes our inventory is not accurate due to purchases made locally. If you purchase something that is sold out, we will try our best to find you a suitable replacement item. Any payment for an item that is not available will be refunded immediately. Keep in mind that weekend purchases are not finalized until Monday due to our eBay Department schedule.
