We hand-forged the blank blade with
D2 Tool Steel
and gave excellent heat treatment to this
stunning
blade which has the hardness
(on Rockwell  Scale)
of 56-58 along its edge. It will hold the edge for a very long time and our knives will retain the edge even through the repeated usage
.
We hand-grind-ed this
4mm
thick blade on both sides with a false edge on the top of the spine.
